I was born and raised in Michigan.  I moved to Northern California in 1992 and made my way south in 2003.  I graduated from the University of Michigan with a computer science degree.  I originally was working on an Accounting degree - but thought that was way too boring and started taking computer programming classes.  Who knew I would land in consulting working with accounting software?  So yes, I actually understand debits and credits.   I seriously enjoy being a consultant and talking to all types of people.  I am not your typical geeky computer nerd - hence why consulting was a natural fit.

I enjoy playing tennis for exercise, social, and competition.  If anyone ever makes their way to Southern California - hit me up - let's go hit some balls.  When the global pandemic hit, everyone around me finally understood what it meant to work from home and why I leave those 4 walls to be with friends on the courts.  It did hit me hard when everything was shut down - but we tennis players were lucky - they opened up the courts since literally you are social distanced!  I've also been taking up hiking again and most recently did some easy back packing.  I was very proud of myself however don't think I will enjoy hiking for miles carrying 30 lbs and definitely won’t be taking on the Pacific Crest Trail.  I also find sewing very therapeutic and have made some beautiful quilts.  I also enjoy listening to books and belong to a book club.  Although this book club is more about socializing and drinking wine :) I’ve taken to binge watching TV shows this last year - Cobra Kai, Shitz Creek, Yellowstone, Friday Night Lights, The Crown, Dead to Me to name a few.  I look forward to getting back to one of my most favorite pastimes - going to the movies!

I have 2 adult kids; my son lives in Northern California and daughter in San Diego.  They both have graduated from UC Universities and are working in techy fields. My significant other, Bob and I just recently moved to Anaheim Hills and have been remodeling our home.  I've done a lot of DIY home improvement projects and one that has fallen on me is to install Amazon Alexa devices to automating the house.  I now feel comfortable with basic electricity and have gotten to know the isles of Home Depot very well.   Lesson learned - after building a 10 x 10 aluminum shed - preview the instruction manual before committing.  Just sayin!

Bob's daughter just gave him his first grandson.   May the 4th be with you for all you Star Wars fans.  We are looking forward to being Grandparents.  Spoil and send them home!

Once Covid 19 is in our rear-view mirror, we plan to resume traveling. I would love to travel to Italy, Scotland and Greece.  I've been all over the US and will be spending some much needed vacation time back in Michigan this summer visiting my family.

Three words that describe me…. energetic, fun, and helpful.   For those of you who work with me on the daily, I switch gears on the drop of a dime.  I enjoy the challenges of my job and the people I work with.  I always try to answer the phone (or should I say my teams call) with a smile!  I look forward to growing in this fast-paced technical world.  I may even join the D365 club someday, but right now the Dynamics SL practice has me knee deep in integrations.  I love learning something new every day and there are far and few between when I don't.

Hope to meet everyone face to face very soon! Let’s rock 2021!
